Judo United Welcomes Olympic Judo Champion Christa Deguchi to San Jose

San Jose, CA — Judo United is proud to welcome Olympic and World Champion Christa Deguchi to San Jose for an exciting weekend of judo seminars at CJ Judo. Deguchi, who represents Canada and was born in Japan, is widely regarded as one of the best judoka in the world today. She will be teaching both youth and adult sessions on Sunday , April 6th, offering a rare opportunity for Bay Area athletes to learn directly from a world-class champion.

This special tour stop is being held in partnership with Judo United, Judo Canada, and Nanka Judo, showcasing international collaboration to bring elite-level judo experiences to local communities.

Following her visit to Northern California, Deguchi’s tour will continue with a seminar at Valley Judo Club in Southern California on April 12th and 13th, with additional visits planned at several other top dojos along the way.
